Classmates from the DFW Metroplex get together for a luncheon meeting each month. They usually meet in a central location such as Arlington. The meetings are held in classmate's homes or area restaurants. Spouses are welcome too. Several members of the class of 1959 join the group to exchange memories.

Annual Summer Meeting
Dan and Barbara Ehrhorn invite everyone to the a summer meeting of LHS’58 classmates on Saturday, May 5, 2012 their beautiful home near Weatherford, just west of Fort Worth. Kay Carmickle Kirkpatrick has hosted summer meetings for several years at her home in Lubbock, but this year she has joined with the DFW area group to move the summer meeting to the DFW area.

Coordinators: Suzanne McNeil Shipman and Linda Jordan Harper are serving as coordinators for the meeting along with Dan. This spring an e-mail and postcard will be sent to all former classmates with more information on the meeting.

Lodging: There are about 20 motels in the Weatherford area which is only 30 miles west of Fort Worth. Details to follow.

Food: The food will be an “organized” pot luck format with information to follow. Consideration will be given to those who may be travelling a longer distance who may wish to donate toward the purchase of meat dishes.

Cost: $10.00 per attendee as a donation to defray expenses of the meeting, food for the day including meat, tableware, tea, coffee, etc. Please send your check to James Tabor at 104 Jasmine Ct, Allen, TX 75002 when you RSVP that you will attend. You may also RSVP to James at JTabor2001@gmail.com so we can get an advance headcount, and then send him your check before May 5th.
